Fast service but not great. Dude didn't seem to want to deal with it and we couldn't get a ballpark quote for the repair w/o part until after he left. Price seemed high since he said the OEM would cover the part. I knew that was under warranty yesterday when I ran the self-diagnostic that didn't tell us what part and the company said it would be covered if it was that part. I had already looked up how much the part was, too. Based on the full quote he gave (assuming the part wasn't covered) it seemed really high for the labor. Full quote was more than we paid for the appliance 7 years ago and it's not fancy, it's a pretty barebones model. It wasn't until after my wife had to ask (after we paid for the diagnostic and he left) how much the labor is he said yeah, it might be cheaper to go thru the OEM for labor. The business we normally go to for repairs is very up front about if it's cheaper to replace versus repair and if we should go to the OEM for service because of the parts that are covered by warranty. That's why we call them and happily pay the diagnostic fee so we can pick the most economical option of cost to replace versus repair. Because they are transparent. Unfortunately they don't service this brand at all so we had to use someone else and that's how we picked Supreme. I prefer not to deal with repair places that aren't clear and up front with all the info, servicing vs parts vs warranty vs "ya know, it might be time to bite the bullet and get a new one".
