The quality of the products here is extremely poor. They don’t even know how to make Kashmiri Chai — what we were given was just hot milk with pink coloring added, yet they charged $3.49 per chai, which is completely unacceptable. On top of that, the snacks we purchased were expired. This shows a serious lack of quality control and care for customers. Overall, this store is very disappointing, and the experience was frustrating beyond words. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
They are not honest people. Their rates are higher than the rates on other stores. They charged me for 18 paays (2.99 each), having cut each into 3 pieces. But they gave me only 16 paays.
The store is very good but the take out service they have opened is horrible. I wish them the best and I hope I'll come back one day and change this review to five starts. we ordered a biryani and two kababs from them. The kababs were okay but biryani was very dry seemed liked not enough oil. Also, The piece of chicken in there was very small like after basically five six bites it was finished and we still had more than half of rice left. There biryani is $1 cheaper than silver spoon but silver spoon always put a big piece of meat which is more than enough. A lot of time rice is finished but piece of meat is still left with silver spoon. I would rather pay $1 more to get proper serving than cheaping out like this when you can't even enjoy the food. They need to go out there try other places see how they are servicing and work on their business.
My daughter went here today during lunch time at the near Woodcrest P.S. She said the samosas were phenomenal, and they were full of flavour, and cheap too! For you who wanna try south asian food, but allergic to cashews (like me) the samosas here, have none! Very nice owners, went here a while ago and they are always kind. (edit) I am just wondering when do you usually put away all of the curries and such? Because I came yesterday at ~8:00 and there was only samosas and the sweets.
The food used to taste like home-cooked, but tonight’s order missed the mark. The fried dal and chicken kabab were overwhelmingly spicy—loaded with red and green peppers—so the heat drowned out the flavour.
Just bought Channa chaat. It’s embarrassing to have chaat like this No salt no chatni an masala. Hard boiled chickpeas . Big big chunk of potatoes and tomatoes like they used in karahi. Only meet shop is better otherwise store is pretty dirty.
The quality of meat has changed drastically, and management doesn't seem to care at all about it. Looks like once you become a customer, then they don't care at all.
