The Visit here was mediocre if anything, the cannellonies are filled with some sort of a whipped cream instead of a custard. And I found the guy behind the counter, had no idea what he was selling. Just wasn't really impressed, probably, won't return.
Ordered a cake for my friends birthday first they make the cake at last minute were not punctual. Also the cream felt so stiff no one had it worst experience. Could have ordered a better cake in lesser amount.
Disappointed with my experience. I ordered a graduation cake from Taunton Bakery for June 13th. While the design looked nice on the outside, it wasn’t exactly what I had requested, and the writing on the cake felt rushed and last-minute. Unfortunately, the flavour was also underwhelming and the cake tasted a bit stale. I appreciate the effort, but the overall experience didn’t meet my expectations. Sadly, I don’t think I’ll be returning.
If you’re looking for fresh, this is the spot! I ordered a vanilla buttercream cake for my daughter’s 10th birthday and it was a huge hit! The bakery gave me an excellent deal and I’m more than happy with their excellent customer service! I highly recommend this bakery. The sugar cookies were also delicious and we will be back for more fresh baked goods. Thank you for your kindness and helping hand.
0/5 if I could rate that way! I was going to purchase 3 small bags of bread crumbs at $2.00 lb. Apparently the gentleman at the counter indicated they were 1.5 lbs and charged me as such.. I was hesitant about the weight but proceeded with my purchase. I weighed the 3 bags on my kitchen scale..3 lbs 1 oz. ( 1 lb each bag). I have called to store 3 times to speak to the manager but apparently, he is always out. What a sheer rip-off.. This establishment should be ashamed of themselves knowingly overcharging the customer. As minimal as it may seem to be ..it is the principal of the matter.. Lost my business and hopefully yours..
I'd like to leave a 5 star review, but I need to keep this honest because I am a consumer but I love small businesses. A few things I'd love to help these new owners with 1. Get a baker who can bake ALL types of bread. Ciabatta bread etc. Pretzels. Sourdough . All kinds. 2. DONT FOCUS ON DESSERT. Your dessert is terrible. The bread is fabulous. A bakery should focus on what they are GOOD at. The desserts we bought were just terrible. The taste was lemon on everything. They were falling apart and old. That will scare away all your client's. Or potentially new ones. Or focus on desserts you are good at. And do not buy them and sell .. make them yourself. 3. USE your coffee machine. Offer a coffee and a muffin (if you ca bake muffins) for a deal. Bring in some new morning client's.. put a big sign on the street promoting your coffee and muffin or other morning food deal. I was hoping this would be my new go-to local bakery, but I was quite disappointed. I went in on a Tuesday morning and over half of the store was empty. Completely empty shelves, no exaggeration. Some of the pastries looked like they had been sitting in the display for multiple days. I ended up trying the chocolate chip cookies and the strawberry cream cheese danish. The danish was fairly good, however it could have used a few less minutes in the oven. The icing on it made it taste like it was old. The cookies were tasteless, crumbly, and made with some sort of compound chocolate that was clearly not pure semi-sweet chocolate.
