My friend and myself have been infrequent Gens game-day visitors to this location. What I can say is that having Ashley nine times out of ten when we eat here, always ensures fantastic service, and that we are well-looked after! Truthfully my small, tiny complaint is that I feel the lattice fries should come with a dip sauce, as it's nearly an industry standard at this point amongst pubs. My friend also added that the wings should come with fries for the price point, otherwise phenomenal job to both our lovely server Ashley, and the team in the kitchen, we will continue to visit :)!
Food and drinks here has always been great, the breaded wings with Jamaican jerk are always my go to. Also shoutout to Ashley, she always makes the experience better even if it’s a little busier ! Would recommend
Honestly, I’ve never felt at home in any bar until I met a girl named Rukku at Madrocks. She made me feel so comfortable from the moment she spoke to me. There was something so genuine and warm about her. She served with a smile, she talked with respect, and she made the whole place feel safe and welcoming. I don’t usually even notice service like this, but she stood out in the best way. I tipped her well because she truly deserved it. If you ever visit Madrocks, ask for Rukku. She will make your day better without even trying.
Went in for lunch with some friends, and I had wings, witch were pleasantly large. I enjoyed them, but I cant say the same for my friends, unfortunately. Their food was either overcooked, or cold. But to my absolute shock, the men's washroom looked like an abandoned methadone clinic, with an open door policy. There was graffiti on the walls, the stall doors didnt lock, and was filthy. But I heard different about the women's washrooms, witch were clean and un touched. Definitely going to look for other options next time we're in town
Came in for lunch, but unfortunately, we did not enjoy our experience. We came in, on a friday. It was completely empty despite 2 separate men, on the other side of the restaurant. We had gotten our food, and my pulled pork sandwich was ice cold and had a stale bun. My friend had gotten fish and chips, but the batter was so over cooked, it was fused to the fish, like cement. Our server never came around to ask how it was, even though it was completely dead. but she did take my pulled pork sandwich off the bill. Definitely dont think we will return.
Very clean restaurant waitress was very good new all the food without asking, food was very good and good portion sizes, would highly recommend madrocks
