Craig was a pleasure to deal with. I helped my mom update her car audio in her dream Beetle convertible. We had many options to choose from, and Craig was very patient when showing my mom how to operate the head unit and connect her device to a few of the platforms. The work was completed ahead of schedule and resulted in a cost savings compared to a dealer replacement head unit, while updating it to modern standards. I would use this shop again in the future.

Great experience with a head unit install at Ultimate Car Audio. About a month ago I had a new Pioneer head unit installed in my car, for a while I couldn’t figure out why my CarPlay wasn’t automatically switching between day & night mode then I realized it was because the head unit wasn’t set up to automatically switch. I brought it back in and spoke with Craig, he explained that my car didn’t have a dedicated wire for this but said he’d have a look and see if there was anything he could do, not too long later he fixed my issue with an alternative wire he thought might work. 10/10 customer experience, very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Side note: while I was sitting in the shop waiting for my initial head unit install, there was a particularly difficult customer walking around asking all sorts of ridiculous questions and making it seem like the staff didn’t know what they were talking about. Everyone who interacted with him had much more patience than they should have, so props to them for that.
COMPANY OWNER AND RECEPTIONIST ARE LIARS AND SCAMMERS! WARNING!! On 2024-10-16 at around 4:55 - 5:05 I contacted this company to get a security system installed. Both of them told me I needed to pay $599 for the Viper 350 (3105V) and the installation. I asked if I could bring in the Viper 350 myself, as it is $200, and pay for the labor, which they confirmed was $200, the receptionist put me on the phone with the owner and he told me that I needed to buy additional components. a: DS4VP, DS4SU, and a D9146V. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Key Features of Viper 350 Plus (3105V) Remote Start: The 350 Plus allows for remote starting of your vehicle, meaning you can start your engine from a distance using the remote control. Mobile Control: It offers a smartphone app that enables control over the system, including remote start and alarm management Component Breakdown DS4VP: This is a multi-function module primarily for enhanced security and remote start capabilities, which is redundant with the 350 Plus. DS4SU: This module adds remote start features but is also redundant because the Viper 350 Plus already incorporates this functionality. D9146V: This is a different alarm system that does not enhance the features of the Viper 350 Plus and would be unnecessary for the setup I was requesting. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- When I brought this up to the owner, he tried to baffle my brain with a bunch of word salad, and told me that the Viper 350 Plus doesn't come with any siren, it's just a kill switch, which was a flat out lie, when he passed the phone to the receptionist, she had the nerve to laugh in a condesending way when I asked where the extra $199 came from. In Summary; The owner, and the receptionist both try to deceive potential clients, and when caught red handed in their lie, they try to back peddle, they laugh at you, and now I will take my business elsewhere. I also had two witness' to the phone call as well. Be warned, there are many other places in the GTA that provide the same service, and do not partake in scamming the citizens of Canada. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For the OWNER In business, it is important to be ethical. During my time in the Canadian Armed Forces as a Combat Engineer, we were taught and instructed about leadership, and good ethical practices in day to day life. If you have problem with your factory OEM deck this is not the place for you they basically don't care at all and the techs are not very friendly went to authorized dealership worked out much better
Came to install my speakers here. Owner was really rude. After paying $250 to install my speaker and amp it blew a month later. I brought another amp and he charged me over 80$ just to plug my new amp in. Horrible service I don’t not recommend anyone coming here
I made an appointment on the Friday at 11, which I was later told to come in at 1 as they were short an installer upon arriving i was told they couldn't work on my car at all on Friday. This is really frustrating and aggravating. Which is unfortunate as they did a really good job on my head unit. Update: I was able to talk to Mark on Friday and he booked me in first thing on Monday morning. After arriving there the owner talked to me about the issue they had on Friday and gave me a 20% discount on installation. After installation I am very happy with the result. And will be going back there for any automotive audio installations.
