Hawley Crescent partners with several venues to provide wedding packages, and that is how we initially discovered them. We did end up booking such a package and our initial onboarding with them left us a tad bit nervous about what we would get on our wedding day. Let me say this.. Kathryn turned that around and then some. She gave us confidence that she was there for us in the months approaching the wedding. This was extra nerve wracking as we were planning from the other side of the world, but she did everything in her power (and then some) to ensure that we were taken care of, effectively becoming our wedding planner. What could have been a disaster, thanks to unexpected snowfall, was turned around and into a strength of our day and night, and Kathryn gets a lot of the credit for that. Hawley Crescent's entire staff were wonderful, the food was exceptional and they worked tirelessly to keep our guests happy. We received comments throughout the night at how amazing all of the staff were and how exceptional the food was. It was tasty, hot and fresh and presented phenomenally on the plates, not to mention the presentation of the staff during serving. If we ever have another event where we can involve them, we will happily take that opportunity. The entire team is wonderful and Sue and Roger are wonderful, understanding and patient people. My only regret is not being able to bring them home to Australia to host more events for us. Thank you for making our day what it was. Especially you Kathryn. Your attitude and persona make you a significant credit to the team.
Hawley Crescent is highly recommended! They made our dream of hosting our own wedding a seamless reality. Their level of detail and planning, from timelines, courses, resource management, and kitchen organization, was truly a pleasant surprise to me. Their serving staff were incredibly professional, communication was always open and prompt, and of course the food tasted amazing (we opted for 3 appetizers, charcuterie boards, gnocchi and German-style chicken schnitzel w/ root vegetables. Highly recommend, and a big shout-out to Roger, Sue and Stephen for making it the best day!
I cannot recommend Hawley Crescent enough! They did the catering and decor for our wedding at Compass Rose and everything was absolutely perfect. The entire team is amazing and their process for arranging the planning, decor and choosing the menu was so thoughtful, fun and made our wedding stress free. Mandy is an absolute rockstar, she was so helpful and professional in planning the wedding timeline, decor and catering and completely understood our wedding vision and made it come to life beautifully. Our wedding party and guests also loved her energy and how she made the entire wedding day seamless. Everyone LOVED the food, we had multiple guests tell us the food was the best they had ever had at a wedding! Thank you so much to everyone at Hawley Crescent for making our wedding day so magical! The service I got from Hawley Crescent& Eevents was amazing people commented on the food and the different dishes and how good it was. I ordred enough for 150 people around 275/300 people show up .The caterers come in and set everything up we did not do anything fantastic.All water ,pop and juices were included. We took all the left overs to the homeless on the streets my son would want that i know he was there with them. If your looking for a great caterer and kind and friendly people to work with you Hawley Crescent Catering & Events is a place to go. Lyle Henderson
They seem like a good company but we gave up eventually since we never got a quote after a month and a half of trying to get one. Went with another caterer in the end.
The family and team at Hawley Crescent are wonderful. Roger and Sue are fantastic to work with on a professional level, and I would strongly recommend them to anyone looking for catering services. All the best, Jordan Wotten
Had our Corporate Holiday lunch catered by Hawley, the menu provided was customized based on our needs and budget, and food was excellent!! Very fresh, a wide variety, and excellent vegetarian options. Pricing was extremely reasonable, and they provided us with everything. Roger & Sue were wonderful to deal with, very responsive and extremely helpful. I highly recommend this company, keep an eye out for them at events in Durham to try out if you don’t have a catering need!
