I would like to say something about this restaurant, it was yeastersay i ordered chowmein special noodle party tray $61 with tax, frustrated the noodles came with very dry and no taste i was expecting more sauces but endeed like were not happy. I give 2 star only for this. Not ordering with them anymore.
I ordered on Uber Eats at around 8:30pm. They closed at 9pm, and the food was fresh, and was a nicely portioned size for the price I paid. Food tasted great, and I'll definitely order again.
I ordered deep fried shrimp and chicken wings. I asked specifically 3 times for lots of lemons. I got one wedge. I know it's just lemons but it's what I want with my oh so greasy shrimp.
Very quick polite and efficient. However the food is very mid in the way you won't hate it and won't love it. Egg rolls are wound a little hard. A little dry. Rice over done a bit and General Tso/tao is also a little dry. Maybe just the day I went. The chop suey is quite decent. Like I said it's not offensive. It's just not setting off bells either. But the speed is good, cost is good and they are very nice.
Ordered the shrimp fried rice with sweet and sour spare ribs from a kind cashier who got my order quickly. The shrimp fried rice was a little oily and the shrimp needed some seasoning, otherwise, it was fine. The sweet and sour spare ribs were pretty delicious and there wasn't too much breading on them, which I was happy with. The reviews about people's experiences hours after eating the food have me a little worried, but watch this review for an update if anything bad happens in a few hours. I guess only time will tell.
My husband and I have been ordering takeout from new century for about 2 years. The service and quality of food has never changed! Have to say new century is one of the best and a staple for Chinese food in Oshawa!
I didn't read anywhere that there's pork in the egg rolls I have an allergy to pork . And that's what I had for dinner.i never had a pork one before. Wish there's better posting for ingredients food is bland. Very disappointed for the price. Food tasted like dish water. Chicken was weird. Everything was a watste of money.
