Brought my duvet to clean and charged me $79. I asked if that was right and he said yes, my duvet is feather. Picked it up a week later and there is a receipt from a different dry cleaner with my phone number for $31. Hope scamming me $48 was worth getting one star!!!
He talks alot in these review replies for someone who's 5"4 and easily intimidated in person. Unorganized and constantly delaying service. His stitches are never neat and he makes mistakes often which I'll give him credit for fixing free of charge. It's not a good idea to talk crazy in these replies use that effort to improve your work instead. Good luck lol
Bad enough he overcharged for simple hat alteration, butthen he did a mediocre lopsided job, and never called to inform when done, quite proud of himself when l picked up my hat. Now l get why he makes you pay on advance, no repeat business here.
Brought a suit Blazer and pants, as I wanted to support the local shops. Asked to slim the pants as they were too loose on my legs from the thighs down. Asked as well to lengthen the Blazer wrist as well as bring the torso in a little. The pants were not done higher than the knees, so now I look like a rcmp. When asked why the thighs were not slimmer, he said that would ruin the pants so it can't be done; even though i did ask for it to be slimmer on the thigh as well. The Blazer wrist was also worse than the original. One of them were wider than the other and was drooping.. I should have asked to fix it, but I was disappointed with the entire service and price for practically doing nothing. He's a great socializer, but the work was bad. I will definitely not be returning here again.
Way over priced!!! $34.50 to have two pairs of pants hemmed. My fault for not shopping around. I went there previous times and it was never that expensive. He also cut (shortened) them before hemming them even though he was asked NOT to. My business will never go back there. He was extremely rude as well. When I asked him why he shortened them, he immediately grabbed the pants and took them and said " if you're not going to pay I'm not giving them to you" I said nothing , about not paying..
Bad experience. Although he appeared respectful on first visit, he appeared to do so to get clientele but you later get to know that he is very distasteful to clients, expectially to people of color. He uses derogatory racial words. For me, my first experience is in the negative. I cannot recommend him. I cannot refer people of color, blacks to him.
The guy that runs this business is an absolute joke. I took my $2000 leather boot to him to replace the zipper in December and told me it would be 2 weeks. I call him 2 weeks later and he said it’s not done, I call after another two weeks and he said the boots in Toronto and he doesn’t have it yet. Fast forward to march and he told me he didn’t have the boot, that he had to pick it up from Toronto and it wasn’t fixed. So I said give me my $100 back and get me the boot. He refused to return my money because he had to use “gas money” to pickup the boot. Finally after showing up 4 times for the boot he had it but won’t give me the money. The boot is the same as when I dropped it off. Absolutely terrible business so don’t waste your time or money! The owner is a waste.
