Such a lovely café. The coffee’s fantastic; rich, smooth, and clearly made with care. The owner couldn’t be friendlier, which makes the whole place feel warm and welcoming.
We come to Aves on a regular basis. I order the Latte and never have to add any sweetener as the flavour of the coffee is Devine. It is definitely our #1 choice for delicious coffee. What makes Aves unique is they roast their coffee on the premises which makes it extra fresh. A special shout out to Himani who’s always serves us with a beautiful smile and lot’s of love. ?
A gem coffee roaster and cafe. Single origin SHADE grown (no pesticides and saves the birds) coffee beans that are beautifully roasted. Really kind knowledgeable staff and bring your own mug or bring back one of their coffee bags and you will receive 5% off your purchase ? lovely place and lovely people who care about how your coffee arrives to you and the impact we have when we choose consciously. A humble request/suggestion …. I would love to see another plant milk option in addition to the oat milk for my gluten free vegan friends that can’t have oats…. Maybe hemp or almond? Lavender Rosemary Latte is wonderful! The owner is so kind and generous. You can tell he loves what he does. Several of the syrups are homemade. Beans are roasted in house. I also tried an Iced Masala Chai which was delicious. Highly recommend you visit.
It is not just a coffee shop. Once you enter, you will feel a unique experience, starting with the smell of coffee, the simple, calm decor, in addition to the personal treatment and care of the shop owner, ending with the taste of real, high-quality coffee.
Overall 3 stars for the amount of coffee you get in a fairly small cup. I see that the owner mentioned it’s a 12 oz cup, but for $7 it’s a bit of a stretch unless you’re indulging. The atmosphere is cozy, limited seating and definitely has the gentrified warehouse look to it. I can appreciate their efforts toward sustainability and greener coffee but a limited menu/baked good items, I’d say if you’re looking to buy bulk coffee this would be a good spot. They have a ton of variety.
Great coffee place! Welcoming staff, great quality drinks, and very interesting roastery in the back of the cafe. My only one complaint is the wifi is not so good. I wish the wifi was better so I could study and sit down there.
