Overall good experience with this restaurant. They did get my order wrong initially when I placed in advance but they rectified it when we went in to pick it up after a short wait. We ordered the large garlic rice and lechon kawali. The rice was very good, fresh and aromatic. The lechon kawali was juicy with good crispy top. Overall very good food! We would recommend!
The restaurant is clean. The server "Ann" is friendly and courteous. The bicol express is creamy and you can taste the coconut milk in the sauce. The bistek tagalog is tender and tasty. The sisig is perfect blend of spices, not greasy or oily. The bbq/pork skewer is flavorful with beautiful glaze from the sauce that they use. The mango graham has real mangoes not from powdered flavoring. Pinapaitan has the authentic taste if you know what I am talking about. Highly recommended when craving for authentic Filipino food.
First time there, wasn't sure what to get (a coworker recommended it) so I got a couple banana pies and a bag of sweet corn- will try other food next time
We went to pasalubong everytime i want to eat filipino food. Specially this days because i was pregnant and earlier my experience was a worst service I've had. We went there for lunch after my doctor's appointment and one of the staff named "rose" if I heard it right, take our order and she missed my order. i ordered hotdogs and bangsilog because i was craving for that she only serve the hotdog and we waited for 30 mins and when i ask how about my bangsilog she said she didn't include it her excuse was she thought i changed my mind because i was laughing with my husband which is none of her business!!!!!why she didn't repeat my order so that my order was clear. instead of apologizing for the missed order she blame me for that. is that how you give customer service? And sadly i need to wait for another 30 mins again and other staff served my food and no apology recieved from "rose" she's not supposed to be in the front service area she didn't know what customer service is!!!! And one of the customer in other table is also pissed off to her because he called for a advance order but still he needs to wait for his order too! Take an action for this she supposed to retrain again how customer service works and it should be!!! And one thing my husband's ordered has hair (caldereta) maybe because she's not wearing hairnet we didn't make it a big deal but she supposed to wear hairnet in working area since she's serving food!!
The pictures of their lechon box package has skin all over the top. But when we went there there were only 3 pieces of skin per box. A little disappointed. Also we went there for Breakfast Hotsilog, Tosilog and Lonsilog. It took them 15 min to but when we got the food, the egg, and the meat were all cold. Disappointed again.
First time trying filipino cuisine, and I love it! The food was delicious, and the portions were fair. The service was great, and the dining room was clean, and there were lots of customers picking up food. I'll definitely be back soon.
The food is okay and the fact that it's one of the few filipino restaurants on the east end is nice. However, the service and attitude from the worker was not appreciated. Went in with family and the worker got all annoyed and mad at us because we wanted to buy 2 Bangus first (and it was gonna take 20m), so we politely asked them to start cooking it first so we didn't have to wait too long by the time we finished ordering/cashing out. Based on our previous experience there they're fairly slow, so we just wanted to be efficient. After politely asking, the whole interaction following, she got annoyed whenever we asked for things and repeatedly asked for clarification with clear sass all the way till we paid. When it came to payment, she tried to lift her attitude and give a smile but was clearly forced. Regardless of her customer service, we reacted with politeness and patience till we got our food to leave. In short, the food is okay but slightly overpriced compared to other places. Be cautious that the worker will get an attitude if you ask for something specific. The parking is very limited so it'll be hard to get in/out right by the road.
