I’ve called and immediately a ‘blaring recording in the ear and had to push a # to speak to an employee. I made a polite comment about the blaring recording, and female employee said sorry as if she couldn’t understand what I was saying which came off very rude. I then got to the point of the call by asking if the chicken is Halal. The chicken is Halal. I don’t support Hala. As Halal is animal cruelty and I would never support animal cruelty. One star for rudeness on the phone and for Hala chicken.
Let me start by saying I stood in line for 3 hours to enjoy Nashville Hot Chicken from Hattie B's in Nashville (IYKYK). It's hard to find good 'Nashville Hot' this far north, but Frankie's does a good job. My daughter and I ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich Combo. The curly fries have a very nice flavour to them and just a hint of spice and the Frankie's sauce made for a very nice dip for the fries. The Chicken Sandwiches were perfectly cooked and had a very nice flavour to them... Spice wise (It's called Nashville HOT Chicken for a reason folks) I found the sandwich to be a little on the mild side, despite ordering the 'Hot', but the flavour made up for the lack of heat. Overall, I've had 'hotter' Nashville Hot Chicken in the GTA, but flavour-wise, this hit the spot. We will absolutely order from here again.
The chicken is the size of chicken wings not tenders. Shrinkflation at its finest $22 dollars for 9 pieces and there half the size they use to be is outrageous I will not be returning
Purchased two chicken sandwich combos for dinner this evening, got home to enjoy them and the buns were burnt and the fries were over cooked to the point that they would just break and crumble apart for both combos. Sandwiches just tasted like charcoal. Not a great first impression.
Chicken was actually tasty, got chicken fingers with their house sauce and it was good. On the other hand… the prices are a little steep, I’d say worth it for the amount you get but combos don’t come with drinks so about a $80 for two meals no drink
Chicken sandwiches were amazing, Nashville hot was the perfect amount of spice and the flavour was bomb. The curly fries are awesome too, walk in special is a ridiculously good deal. Will definitely be ordering again.
We were placing an order on the take out screen in store when staff said they could place it quickly for us. Asked for ckn sandwich combo with bacon and cheese x2. Got home to see staff had not ordered the bacon and chesse for either sandwich. The meals were also mislabelled, having the hot labled as mild. Called store to let them know and I was put on hold for severally minutes before I gave up. Won't be going back because staff training is either severally lacking or staff are incapable of getting simple orders correct. Expensive mistake on my part.
