Called Friday (Apr 27, 2018) about getting new car insurance for a vehicle Im financing. Was told they would need to pay my outstanding balances before I could get a new policy, which I already knew and gave them my info. I was told to call back on Monday (today, the 30th).I called at 9am as soon as they opened and they had still not paid my balance. Was told to keep calling back. At around 4pm, I was told to go to another broker and that my balance would be paid. I have been waiting around since 9am this morning just to get this taken care of. The broker I dealt with was very rude and didnt want to help me whatsoever. Because of the (lack of) service I received, I now have to wait another day to pick up this car when I was supposed to pick it up over the weekend.
I have been treated very well with my broker agent in meeting my specific insurance needs at a reasonable cost for a number of years. They have been very good at giving me applicable discount rates based on property feature eligibility .Recently we had to make a property damage claim and the support that we received was excellent in expediting the claim without any surprises or undue delays. That created a lot of peace of mind for us in our particular situation. Agents that we worked with were very pleasant and very efficient in processing our claim.
