The layout of the building is odd and not accessibility friendly. You have to enter through the opposite building to go up a flight of stairs to go across a narrow tunnel and then back down another flight of stairs to enter the gym. Either that or bang on the doors, and hope someone opens it. Other than that, the facility was ok. We were there for a set of scheduled basketball games.
$70 for an hour to find 0 staff to help you navigate where the court is, inaccessible facility (no handles/buttons for doors to the courts and met with a huge stairwell), ventilation sucks and it STINKS, set up your own court and take it down 15-20 minutes before your times up because an entire basketball team takes over your court/playtime. Also, the 905 number doesn’t work, it’s out of service! Rent another facility - I recommend Z5 Courts. It’s accessible, met immediately by reception, and no hassle set up and take down (also provide equipment as well!)
Great place with fantastic upkeep and a great atmosphere for both competitive and casual games. My group and I booked a slot for a saturday, but had to reschedule to sunday. Unfortunately there was a mixup that resulted in it being cancelled. However they offered a refund and free 2 hour slot anyday we picked which shows their dedication to great customer support. Currently our main gym for these reasons stated.
Very nice facility overall, only major downfall is the lack of parking when leagues and tournaments are happening as well as the long corridor to enter that is very small. Good facility overall and I have no problems coming back here again. The owner is amazing!
Overall good but this place needs maintenance. The basketball courts are slippery. The courts are not organized well for spectators seating. Compared to this, the Playground Durham is superb!
The Durham sportsplex team is extremely fun and friendly and provides outstanding customer service. As a Head Coach, I have found no other facility that’s more accommodating, resourceful, clean, orderly, or we’ll-run! The facility (basketball courts have 2 FIBA hardwood basketball courts ) is newly renovated and state-of-the-art! THE BEST DEDICATED INDOOR PICKLEBALL COURTS IN GTA. The pricing is great, and the best place to practice sports like soccer and basketball in the wintertime. Would recommend it to all friends and family to check out! Great Job Durham sportsplex team!
