Customer service needs to be improved. The staff seem to have a confrontational attitude when it comes to selling clothing. Almost like they wanted to get into a fight with the customers. Not a single smile from either of the female employees that helped me they almost seemed annoyed that I was there, when I tried to talk, one of the employees cut me off. The employee helping with the dressing room was very polite and kind. Store was clean and sizes where organized
Very disappointing and misleading experience. I brought many clean, high-quality, and almost-new clothes to this store after seeing their advertisements claiming they buy or accept good clothing. However, they refused to take any of my items and gave vague and unreasonable excuses, saying my clothes did not match their “policy.” What is shocking is that the store is full of very old, worn-out, damaged, and low-quality second-hand clothes, yet they refused clean, classy, and well-kept items—including brand-new shoes that had never been worn. It honestly felt misleading and disrespectful. Their advertising is not honest, and their behavior was unprofessional and rude. Instead of accepting good-quality clothing, they seem to prefer selling items that are clearly overused and in poor condition. I do not recommend this store at all. The quality of their products is extremely poor, and the way they treat customers is unacceptable. Save your time and go somewhere more transparent and respectful
⸻ 0/10 experience. If you take items here take photos of them before. I wish I did. When I walked in to hear the offer on my items, the first employee who was supposed to help me was applying Vaseline to her lips, then wiped her hands on her pants before touching anything. I sincerely hope she washed her hands afterward. She then called another worker, “Gracie,” to assist me and walked away. I was offered $30 for 6 items, all brand-name or designer and in great condition. When I said I wanted to take my items back, I was met with a rude snarled, “Yeah, you can start doing that whenever.” On top of that, my Levi’s jacket now has white scuff marks that were not there when I dropped it off. Overall, this was an unprofessional and disappointing experience, and I won’t be returning.
My go to place for shopping. They've curated items so efficiently that it's easy to shop. I built my wardrobe from scratch thanks to Plato's closet and that's why they see me if at all every week.. ♀️.. I sometimes feel awkward to show up every other day lol. Anyways I then told my friend about this and it's her favourite place too. The staff is always welcoming and friendly. Best consignment store for a reason!!
i wish i could give a lower rating. the service is not the best and it always seems like im being rushed out, there are some girls that have been particularly rude when trying to bring items in or shop. i tried to sell some items and they offered me 3$, claiming that the items were outdated and not likely to sell. i went to the plato’s closet in pickering with the same items and they gave me 50$.
nice staff, very friendly and went through my items quickly. was very disappointed with the lack of items that were taken but the staff member explained it clearly enough for me to understand.
Called ahead to sell my clothes so I went all the way there . The girl was rude said your clothes were out dated not trending . Only gave me $7.25 back on only two items il never waste my money going all the way there!! I'm never going back !!!!
