Can't beat it for the price, you're supporting a local business and the kids love it there. On weekends they have a hot food stand (BBQ), they have chicks and sometimes ducklings the kids can pet at the front and popcorn to feed the animals. Pickup some farm fresh eggs before you go home
Excellent outing spot for the whole family! The ability to be able to interact with the animals and even feed them is amazing! The little ones enjoyed seeing the kangaroos and the little chicks! Didnt try the food but there is a small food stand on site. Family membership is a great value!
We absolutely love this zoo. We have had memberships for the last three seasons. Great for children of all ages. This is more of a large petting/feeding zoo than a zoo. It's a large farm and all the animals are native to Ontario unlike the Toronto zoo. The animals are very gentle, my one year old feeds all the animals the popcorn and they are very gentle. Since it is more of an open farm, the kids can run around without worry.
Always have a great time visiting the zoo! Get the season's passes, it's only a few dollars extra! And I recommend always getting two buckets of popcorn there are lots of animal's to feed an almost all of them are very friendly! Also raisins are for the lemurs! Go and enjoy as the summer ends and fall starts!
This small zoo is great fun for the whole family. Every animal is well kept, the area is very clean and you can get up close and personal (petting zoo style) with nearly any animal.It's quite inexpensive for a day, and if you really like or live nearby, a family season pass is only about $90.Both of my kids loved the chicks near the front entrance. I personally enjoyed the little lambs, lemurs and kangaroos. Great day of fun. Grab a bucket of popcorn and watch the animals eat right from your hand.
