What a waste. They won't help you if you are trying to find a better role in your career. They won't touch your resume until and unless you are absolutely unemployed. I guess looking for a better opportunities and better life is not actively engaged. What a waste of government resources and tax payer dollar.

I am so thankful I walked by the employment centre when I did. I had been looking for work awhile with no luck, but as soon as I had help from the wonderful people here (specifically Tracy and Meghan) I got a job! We are very lucky to have this gem of a place in Oshawa. They will aide you every step of the way, resumes, cover letters, job search, advice and more. Plus it's all free!! I knew when I walked in I had found the help I needed. Highly recommended! We all need help sometimes and this is a very friendly and comfortable environment to get started.
lucky enough they got 1 star. i would definitely not recoomend this place, i tried calling and reaching out to them through email, but still no response from them. if you're seeking a job, i suggest go some place else
My daughter and I visited there today as we are job searching to find her an employer to sponsor her as an apprentice, overall the experience was very unpleasant and we felt we were treated in a very unprofessional manner. If you need assistance obtaining employment I would suggest visiting the John Howard Society, they actually want to help in any way they can.
