Just had the Jerk Pork large dinner. Curry goat gravy over rice and peas with oxtail gravy over the jerk pork on top of the rice. With slaw on the side.....I've found my new goto. For me,It was not spicy/hot enough for me but for the everyone else. It had a slight tingle.
Patty is one of the best or the best I've had in Toronto. Good enough meat amount, taste good, and bread is crispy and soft. Jerk Chicken, BBQ Chicken were both excellent. The food tastes good, and looks quite pristine.
Standard Jamaican/Caribbean fare, good Jerk, good rice and several tasty options. I felt like the oxtail was not great, but everything else iv had was good. Portions were good. Unlike other Jamaican spots they did have some options for sides other than coleslaw. Would eat here again.
Ordered the oxtail rice and peas. The meat was soft and the meal left me feeling satisfied. The staff were kind enough to offer a hot pepper sauce to balance out the flavour because it was quite mild to my liking. I was surprised to see the crowd inside the restaurant. The only thing that I wished to see was more seating options as there were only a few chairs available.
Finding good curry chicken roti in Oshawa has been a struggle for me for years. Finally I found the place. If your a fan of roti you know rotilicious, well ALLYWYNS roti is on the same level. 10/10 Flavour, 10/10 portion, more chicken than potateos(rare), meat was cooked perfectly. Highly recommend, good job and thank you Allylwyn and team. I will be back 100%.
Allwyns is a WINNER. I'm a jerk cuisine enthusiast. I had the large jerk pork dinner with extra oxtail gravy. In my opinion it's rivals and may even beat Jerk King as my all time favorite. Definitely the best Jerk in Durham region. Allwyans has just made me a regular.
Their food is amazing the flavours the perfect amount of spice hotness. Everything is done to perfection. The service the people who work there are so friendly and kind. I feel like it’s home. That’s how comfortable they make you feel i’ve always been greeted with a smile and customers they’re great too when I’m there everyone’s friendly. I’ve had a great experience for takeout food. It’s been a long time that I have gone to a restaurant takeout I honestly can say everything was perfect thank you so kindly for your great food, friendly faces and always made me feel welcome from Kristina?
