I picked up two delivery orders here and my car smelled amazing. So back I came for my own order and i was not disappointed. Juicy big crunchy pieces of chicken smothered in Yangnyeom sauce. The honey butter powdered fries were a perfect pair. The coleslaw was pretty delish as well. I highly recommend
Honestly some of the best Korean fried chicken I have ever had and the customer service is top notch! Definitely do yourself a favor and try the boom fries when you go
I was in Oshawa for 1 week on a work trip and came to eat here twice. The food was incredible! Some of the best fried chicken Iv ever had. Not only was the food amazing but so was the service. Cant recommend this place enough. If you’re in Oshawa you HAVE to check them out, you won’t be disappointed!
I finally got the chance to try it, and I was blown away. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside, yet unbelievably juicy and tender on the inside. What sets Korean fried chicken apart is how light and crunchy the batter is—nothing greasy, just pure flavor. Yes , it’s all halal
Our first time trying the place, it wasn’t bad, the chicken definitely could have been cooked a little longer, it tasted a bit rubbery, so we had to throw it in the air fryer. We got the yangnyeom chicken and the supreme fries, which is the two most popular items, we both didn’t like the fries, the powder on it gives an after taste that I didn’t like, and the chicken was good, flavourful apart from the aforementioned. Also be prepared for a small wait time, though there was no one in the restaurant, we had to wait 20 min for the meal, didn’t have an issue with it, was just surprised, but food is very fresh. We ordered a second time, and chicken still needed a little more cook time to us, this time no supreme fries, just regular fries and it was good.
Review update: Bought some bone-in chicken yesterday March 2 and I was disappointed. We ordered 9 chicken and expect to receive whole chicken pieces like whole thigh, whole chicken leg, etc. Instead we receive one piece that look like 1/4 of chicken rib (literally only skin, batter, and bone), 1/2 of chicken thigh, etc. we did receive a couple of whole chicken drumsticks. We felt like we got scammed! Don’t cut chicken pieces into smaller pieces to make more profit! It is not right. Due to this experience, I lowered my 5 stars review to 2 stars review. I have to say BanBan Korean chicken is better because we got whole chicken pieces and not part of them. Be better Boom or you will continue to lose customers!
