Was here on a Friday night with my partner. Service was incredibly slow, especially given how few patrons there were inside. The employees seemed more interested in standing around the bar chatting. Our food took a while to arrive again given how dead it was I was surprised and our server never came back to see how we were doing or refill drinks. Food was subpar and menu was exactly what you'd expect of parefare, nothing interesting or new. Wouldn't waste my time coming here again
Have been going here for years! Never thought to leave a review before. It's a second home after years of playing pool upstairs and dancing downstairs. Birthdays, work events and just anything worth celebrating leads me back here. Anytime friends come to visit out of town this where i take them.
New to Oshawa, checked out pretty much all the bars and restaurants in the downtown area and can honestly say I believe this is by far the BEST one! The place is huge, with a large bar and dining area, and pool tables, lounge, and patio upstairs, to suit whatever mood your in. On Saturdays there is even a dance club in the downstairs. The staff is friendly and the service is Great beer selection and the menu has lots of deliciousness to choose from too!
Went on Tuesday night to celebrate with girls at work. Had a good time. Service was good. They also have half price appetizers with purchase of a drink. Very good value!
This place can get busy but it is very spacious. Staff are great and the food is pretty good too. I have the Alberta blue steak, highly recommended. Pool hall with lots of tables is upstairs. Riley's is located right next to a parking structure and the General Motors Centre is a 5 min walk so it is a great place to meet up before a show or to grab a couple of drinks after a game.
