Where you are only a stranger once, kind and courteous service, relaxed atmosphere, fantastic entertainment, the best bands in Durham region whether it's spending the night with Canada's funniest and most energizing Two for the Show, or a party with ringleader Donnie Mann and Another Round, and of course the always entertaining Jay and Deuce, one of the most talented guitarists and vocalists I have ever seen, close your eyes and you feel like you are at the concert of the greatest musicians of our times. Not to mention the food, whether it's a meat pie, Guiness Pie, the biggest and best wings in Durham, succulent fish and chips. Saturday evening karaoke is a family favourite too with some of the best local talents around some polished to a perfect shine and others just enjoying or honing their talents.
Always a great place if you love dancing or crowds. Separate rooms for a more quiet experience with pool table and booths to sit in. Always have good bands playing. Could use a face lift as it is a little out dated.
This is a Tavern with night time music ( not sure what nights) so I understanding why it's dark, but i find it a little too dark and a little dingy. The service has always been good for me and the food is pretty good for a Tavern.
