Do not bother giving this store your money for Pokemon or Magic product. I found out over the weekend that this store is selling the Final Fantasy Scene boxes for Magic the Gathering at $150! Just upstairs in the same mall at EB Games, they are selling the same product at MSRP, which is $54.99. I don't see their business staying a float for much longer selling product at over 150% markup when you can buy the same items at EB Games. I also heard from the manager at EB Games they even they encourage customers to avoid Mind Games at all costs. Do not spend your money here.
Thé Oshawa Center location has the best staff and gift selection. It’s a place where each person gives you their full attention. It’s the best store ever
Absolutely rude customer service. My son & spouse went there today to try to use my son's mall gift cards he got for Christmas. The lady working had a huge attitude & issue with using them. Spit out some nonsense that made absolutely no sense & my spouse uncomfortable with using them. This store is on the acceptable list of stores that use the OC gift cards. Must of been too much work for her! They left empty handed. We were loyal customers but after today, we will never return! The OC customer service will be contacted as well as head office. This is not over! This lady made my son very upset & he still doesn't understand why he couldn't use his mall gift cards there to buy Lego!!
Went here this morning Mar 1/25. One of the worst cashiers I have ever dealt with. Very rude. Some kind of scams going on in this place. Won't be back.
If I could give a zero I would, the manager was rude and disrespectful and takes advantage of her label, I wrote to mindgames Ontario head office and if nothing is done about this certain “manager” this company will have lost two valuable customers. I am appalled with the customer service at this location and the manager being a grown woman definitely was not acting like one and acting more like a child. I’ve talked to people about my experience and apparently I’m not the first to have issues with this woman and after checking past reviews I see her description popping up on low star reviews aswell, the fact that she still has her job and continues to treat customers the way she does says a lot about your company’s “policy.”
A super fun place and honestly a hallmark of the Oshawa Center. It's just sometimes they don't have exactly what you need. They have a lot of things you can't really find anywhere else these days, and are a GREAT place for Dungeons and Dragons shopping.
scam. ordered a pretty expensive funko pop online (worth about $40) and it shows on their site it was $12.95. I ordered and they sent me the basic model worth about $8 instead. Wrong photo on their site to boost sales. Will not refund me either.
