I’m new to the area and went to get ground beef from here to see if it’s good. I asked for 1 pound, they gave me 1.5kg. When I went to cash out, I’m like weird my total should be less. I checked and saw they gave me much more than I asked for. When I asked them about it they barely spoke English and said ok let me see. They asked how much I wanted instead and I told them to forget it and just took it back. Went back to the cashier and she’s like “see it’s the same price it didn’t change”. I’m like no shit I didn’t change the amount. She was annoying about it and had weird comments. I did previously read reviews of them trying to scam people so was iffy about going anyways. This trip just confirmed it though. Won’t be going back.
After renovation this place looks good, staff is respectful and behaves well. Never saw things on sale on this store, they should put more items on sale due to competition
After the renovation, this place looks amazing — spacious, clean, and well organized with a wide range of products. The meat section, especially the goat, is of great quality and always fresh. The only drawback is that the meat prices are a bit higher compared to competitors offering similar quality. I hope they can review their pricing, as everything else about the store is excellent.
Very disappointed with this place . One guy who refused to cut chicken how i wanted and insisted to buy pre cut. Lady who is manager came and said to me that she will talk to him. But he again argued and still didn't wanted to give me the meat. So I have to go to Pak halal meat super nice people .they are my new go to place. If you have rude and arrogant people in meat section then good luck to you.
This is a good place to be in Oshawa. Who looks for Halal meat. They sell halal chicken, beef, veal, goat and Lamb. Even they sell marinated of all items. Also, they sell halal sause and other stuff. Very neat and clean. All staff members are cordial to their clients. I personally know the owner. He is a really a gentle man. He is always there to make his clients happy. I personally urge you to make this place is your a regular to go.
I have been coming to this store for many years and would never go anywhere else. Best customer service I have ever experienced . The owner of the store is so respectful and would treat you like a family not a client. I wish I could give more than 5 stars.
Standards have gove down. Have bought goat meat from them many times before without any proplems. But last two times ( within a month's time) have been a total disappointment. First time it happened in April and goat meat smelled a lot. I complained to someone at the meat section and he said thats not possible. Again I bought goat meat in May and this time there were hundreds of goat hairs stuck to the meat. Even after washing thoroughly 5 times we found many hairs in the cooked meat. I will not buy from this store again. Update : I called the store as per their response provided on yesterday's review. 3 different persons asked about the problem separately and even advised to bring the cooked goat meat to the store for inspection. Ultimately he did not offer any refund even though their own google review response mentioned so. They just mentioned that here to make it look like they refunded the money, really deceitful business practice. I was not looking for refund anyway, just wanted to spread awareness. Please stay clear of this store.
