I had a brake fluid flush done here yesterday and paid $150 in cash. They told me it would be $150 with no tax if I paid cash, so I agreed. However, when I asked for a receipt afterward, I was told, “You paid cash!”—even though I could clearly see a receipt sitting on the desk. It was obvious they didn’t want to give it to me, so I let it go. After the service, I noticed a black smudge on the hood—likely from the mechanic’s hand—that wasn’t cleaned off. It gave me the impression that attention to detail and customer care aren’t priorities here. Being right next to a collision centre, maybe they get enough business that they don’t feel the need to focus on service. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this shop.
Last night I was driving home on the DVP. All off the sudden all my lights on my dash went on. Some flashing some just stayed on. Today I called Boss Auto in Oshawa. I had my air conditioning replaced and they were awesome so I brought it back. My husband also had a lift kit put in his Jeep Rubicon and it’s been perfect ( trust me I’d know if it wasn’t cause it was my recommendation to bring it to Boss Auto. Great customer service and terrific workmanship! Anyway back to my WRXSTI… When I called Boss Auto he said come on over and at least he could get the computer on it to find out the problem. He came back told me everything is all good it just might have been the cold or just a glitch. I was told if they come back on we can check out other things like possibly alternator.. He didn’t even charge me anything and they are super awesome I know I’m a repeat customer but they are just amazing with their customer service We all know how important good customer service is because these days it’s rare unfortunately. I went in to get my 2003 Pontiac sunfire safetied. They brought it in put it on the hoist and showed me a few things that were wrong with it and I made a decision not to go through with the safety. So I asked how much I owe and they told me not to worry about it but just to always get a vehicle looked at before purchasing it. I am so happy with their frienly service. I think I just found my new go to shop. Thanks guys What great service.
