Pretty standard rental place. The vehicle rentals are reasonably priced however you have to pay for mileage; so take that into consideration when comparing prices to some competitors. Also book ahead online where possible. Sometimes they can get a line up in store if they have a difficult customer.
Poorly managed. One person working the counter in the morning. Not her fault. Manager needs to staff correctly. If min wage increase is hurting profit then raise pricinging. Over an hour to obtain vehicle. This should work like vale parking.
There are hidden prices. A $29.99 truck rental is more like $60 but good service with quality vehicles.
Didnt have what I needed so offered bigger trailer at a location 30 min away which is fine. I had a bunch of issues trying to connect and get info on my booking prior to and at the end when I said I was frustrated the lady on the phone said she would get my frustration if I had made my reservation sooner but since I didnt pretty much too bad. Very unsympathetic and condescending. Not impressed.
** AVOID THIS LOCATION AT ALL COSTS** The situation that happened to me at this location is beyond appalling. I had reserved a truck at this location, when I went to pick up the truck, I was informed that it had ACCIDENTALLY BEEN DISPATCHED TO SOMEONE ELSE under my account. My credit card was charged for this error and I had to come back to the location multiple times to try to get the money refunded. I finally got the money refunded and was assured that the situation was now resolved. A few weeks later, I got notified by my VISA company that UHAUL had attempted to charge my credit card 3 times for the same issue and that they had been successful in their final attempt. I went to the UHAUL location, and sure enough, the license # on the final contract did not match mine or my husband's. I have had to visit the UHAUL location again multiple times, have had multiple calls into the location and to their main customer service line, with still no resolution. I spoke to the General Manager who assured me he would look after the situation "by Monday at the latest". It is now Thursday, I've tried emailing the manager, and all my emails to him are now bouncing back as the email address no longer exists. I am now back to trying to find someone that can help me with my situation. To say that I am upset is a complete understatement. Not only have they put me in a bad situation where I couldn't get a truck when I needed it, they have also cost me additional money in overlimit fees on my card for a truck I never rented, and have also potentially breached privacy in having given my personal information to another customer.The escalation mechanism at UHAUL is extremely broken and inefficient. There was nobody anyone could direct me to as an escalation point, besides the GM who I was already dealing with and from whom I could still get no resolution. This is not what I expect from a company like UHAUL. How they could even have dispatched a truck to the wrong person with the wrong license number is beyond me. I will never, ever, use this location again.
