I've changed my mind, initially I gave 5 stars and I'll give it back if my concerns are met. Out in the nice weather I was able to take a closer look. I'll be contacting them next week. *Normally, I don't go to the insurance recommended repair shops, but the lifetime warranty was a nice incentive. Communication was good, they answered my questions and updates were regular. There was a slight delay do to parts being ordered, but it was only a day. Now, I am a very picky person when it comes to my vehicles, I can see a slight difference in texture in the new paint which I can live with, I don't think they could have done a better job without spending too much time on it. The alinement between the fender and the bumper cover is off a little, I think 5 extra minutes could have been spent to get the alinement right. This is just me, I don't think anyone else would notice. Good job overall, I would take my truck there again if needed.*
Would thoroughly recommend Carstar Express Oshawa as I had a very nerving car accident and they handled everything with such professionalism and care. As a first time customer, I was kept well informed on the details by given updates thru email on what was happening to the body work done on my car through it’s stages. I was given a rental car, everything was handled on Carstar’s end through my insurance and even Enterprise showed up at their business, picked me up to get my rental for the week!! It made my life easier and the end result on my car was perfection.. my car looked brand new and the detailing done on it was amazing!! Thank you all so much!!
This is the second time I have dealt with car Stars . People have alot to deal with when accidents occur alot of times they are upset for one reason or another. They deal with things very professionally making the experience smooth as possible . They went one step further above and beyond by cleaning my car they washed my mats and shampoo my car .What a nice Christmas Present Thank you so much
Take their sweet time to provide estimates. Missed its own deadlines. Don't go there if you are in a hurry. Estimates are in line with the rest of the body shops.
My 1st accident in 35yrs. Intact told me to take my brand new car there. They said very busy. 3 week wait, but after 2 weeks i got a call and my new car was new again !!! Nice and SHINY AGAIN and they even clean interior . Thank YOU. Thank YOU..super treatment from staff
Did really good work and people were great to deal. Only concern was poor estimate for how long it would take as it was delayed due to heat wave impacting paint production. But overall a good vendor.
Last Saturday I went here to get a quote for the 3m paint protection coating for my new car I spoke to Chris who took down my information and took pictures of my car and said he would call me Monday I never heard back from Chis so I called on Wednesday he told me he would call me right back long story short he never called back with a quote and a week later I still have not heard back. Needless to say I will be taking my business elsewhere. Who does business like this? I do not recommend this place if they can't handle a simple quote why would you trust them with your car?
