Have never had a bad experience here, and I'm there several times a week. Always greeted pleasantly. The owner is a sweetheart. Unfortunately, it seems like a lot of people think the restaurant is just a public washroom. I'm sure these same people complaining about the washroom restrictions wouldn't let someone into their home to use their washroom.
We stopped here in our minivan for a quick pitstop. Since there were a few of us, we understood the “washroom for paying customers only” policy and made a purchase right away. After two people had used the washroom, my elderly family member went in — and the lady at the counter actually said, “One coffee and the whole vehicle using the washroom?” Excuse me? Is there some kind of price-to-toilet ratio policy now? What kind of attitude is that toward paying customers? We didn’t argue, just quietly bought something and left, but honestly, this was the first time we’ve ever experienced this kind of behavior in Canada. Extremely poor customer service and a very unwelcoming vibe. Would strongly advise avoiding this place if you care about basic courtesy and decency.
Really disappointed with how we were treated here. I had bought something, and my mother,who is older, needed to use the washroom. Despite being paying customers, the staff were weirdly unhelpful and borderline rude about it. It was uncomfortable and frankly embarrassing. A basic level of human decency was missing, and that’s not something I expect from any business, especially one in hospitality. Won’t be returning, and I’d caution others to consider how they'd be treated here in a similar situation
I rate this store as the best in oshawa. I go about 3-4 times a week and its always the freshest food and hottest great coffee. The service is so good .It is quiet a relaxing place. BEST CINNAMIN BUNS ALWAYS. I GIVE THE OWNER 100 STARS This is my 2nd review i did not say enough the 1st time. The LADY server there is the nicest person i have ever known, I have been going there since last oct and not once was anything less than 200% PERFECT. I go there early every morn, then when i get home ( rertired) I feel great all day. I do not know her name, but she deserves a lot of credit and thanks. Again she is the best. I even told her if she ever needs my help I am 3 min. away. Philip
It’s a friendly environment, come in with purpose and manners and you won’t have a bad experience. The menu is sizeable and well put together, a clean but rustic environment that feels like home. The stuffed patty is wonderful
The lady working tonight was outrageous. My mother has dementia and kidney failure and had to use the bathroom and the lady said the bathroom is only for customers. Won't even let the elderly use the bathroom
I would rather have a 19 week old 7-11 roller hotdog than a sandwich from this coffee time again. It ran my stomach. Poop soup. But thank you for the extra napkins.
