Great experience! Highly recommend this small business. A young man greeted us right away and helped with sizing for shoulder pads, pants, and a helmet. Friendly, knowledgeable, and made the process easy. We’ll definitely be back
The blade holder was used. I always contact a business to see what can be done before posting reviews but I never got a reply. This may still function properly (I haven’t mounted them yet) so it may not be the end of the world, but if I’m paying for new, I expect new. That’s not too much to ask is it?
I'm just learning how to skate and I was having some issues with the fit of my skates (skates bought elsewhere). I went to Crows and the staff was extremely helpful in providing solutions for me. They explained everything, and answered all my questions. What I really appreciated is that not once did they respond in a way that made me feel dumb. I'll only be coming to Crows in the future.
Crow Sports is unreal. Super knowledgeable young crew in there—they hooked me up with some great advice for profiling my kid’s skates. Awesome to find a shop where people actually take pride in what they do. Can’t wait to pick up the skates. I’ll definitely be back.
Drove from Mississauga to look at a pair of used skates (Retail $1400, was listed at $375, with black step steel) Honestly fantastic deals, great inventory and honestly a gem of a shop.
While travelling, my daughter’s goalie pads ripped and we were in dire need of someone who was able to help sew and repair some straps for us same-day. The staff a Crows were excellent in turning around our request in a really short period of time. It was incredibly affordable, too. While I was waiting for the repairs I took my time looking around the store. It’s been a long time since I was in a genuine hockey store with history and connection to the community. So often now the stores we visit are the big box stores that really don’t have experts. Or staff that specializes in repairs. It was incredibly refreshing to be in there and take it all in. This place is the definition of a hockey store in Oshawa. Real people with a passion for what they do. I wish I was local because that’s where I would definitely be taking all my business going forward.
Brought in my goalie pants for a stitching repair. The guy wouldnt even look at them. Told me “I will fix anything but I cant fix those and that they need to be replaced” and refused to let his repair lady look at them. I brought them to my girlfriends house and she fixed them with her regular sewing machine in 20 minutes I wont be going back to crows
