I get the best service at this location. I come all the way from Ajax to this location even though I have 2 other locations closer to me. The sales associates are so helpful and kind with everything. And of course, Laura quality is always the best!
Hi, to who this may concern. I went to this store today May 12… with my 10 year old daughter to get my Mom a bday gift. It was 8:25pm, and there was an old short lady with glasses, short black hair. She was walking around telling people that they’re closing in 15 minutes, which I find weird because it was only 8:25pm. But either way I was about to walk by her, she looked at me, And she was about to tell me that they’re closing in 15 minutes, but before she can tell me, I looked at her, smiled and said to her “ yes I’m aware you guys are closing in 15 min I’ll be quick “ I said this very politely with a friendly smile.. She looks at me .. pissed off and goes “ YES, we are closing in 15 minutes!!!! Do you know how long it takes me to count the money in the till and the receipts and How long closing takes”?!? She Practically was yelling at me in front of my young daughter… I smiled at her and told her “ I worked retail for most of my life, so I’m very aware” but it didn’t stop there, she just kept going on and on and on, she was so angry!! So me and my daughter decided to leave, were heading towards the door to leave and she screams in a very angry way “ HAVE A NICe DAY “!!!!! It was So passive aggressive… I came to the mall after so long. I suffer from anxiety, So for her to speak to me like this was extremely uncomfortable. It was the worst experience I’ve probably ever had because she was just complaining and yelling and seemed so angry. I left without buying a purse and ended up buying from Steve Madden next door. I almost feel like she was trying to trauma dump because she’s being forced to work it seems.. please get rid of this lady, she’s very very mean and has zero etiquettes. Shopping should leave customers feeling happy, relaxed, welcome. Not stressed, upset, hurt and running out of a store. I won’t be shopping at Oshawa town centre Laura ever again! And I will be informing others on Facebook page and other platforms about my terrible experience. I noticed a ton of people were treated the same way so I will be reaching out to the district manager about this. Good luck u old retired cranky woman. This will be your last job I hope. Please spend your miserable remaining years at home on a rocking chair stitching an ugly sweater for ur unfortunate grandchildren. Thanks
My daughter and I were shopping for some work clothes for her. The sales person was very helpful for finding finishing pieces for the outfits we picked out. Very friendly and never pushy. We were both happy with our experience and commented afterwards on how helpful the sales person was.
We had a very disappointing experience at Laura with one of their employees Veronica. My daughter lightly touched a dress, and the customer service representative (Veronica) was incredibly rude to her for no reason. As a paying customer, I expect a welcoming and respectful shopping environment, especially for children who are simply admiring the merchandise. The way we were treated was unacceptable, and I will think twice before returning. Customer service should be about kindness and professionalism, not making shoppers feel uncomfortable.
The clothes are nice but the staff are unnecessarily pushy and even rude… after my most recent experience, my mom and I will not be returning to this store.
Andrea, a very beautiful lady, was assisting us. The best customer service I have ever experienced at any store in Canada. A very hardworking and friendly person. Keep the excellent work!
My favorite store for clothing. Very helpful staff. Only thing I don't like is their reward points system. Used to carry the point to redeeming within a year but now is within 2 months or else you will loose them all.
