OMG .. the absolute best Chinese food anywhere !!! In a sea of soggy, greasy Asian food vendors ... Leon's Garden is a gift from the Gods of amazing fresh-cooked, hot food !! A genuine Mom & Pop restaurant ! The owner's are excellent, very polite, very competent, very happy and very helpful. The owners serve super high quality, large portion, fresh, crisp, hot delicious food. The Asian version of Teddy's, which makes Leon's Gardem a truly amazing Gem on it own ! Everything inside the restaurant is impeccably clean, every inch is spotless ! The dining area is super clean, well decorated, and the aroma inside will make you even more hungry And the PRICES ARE GREAT .. you will definitely get great value for your money. I did a walk-in dinner for 4 with a couple extra sides. Fast, hot, perfectly seasoned generous portions, and DELICIOUS ! There was a group 8 individuals leaving as I was waiting for my order .. wow, were they happy .. and half of that group were Asian ... so you know it's good Eat in or take-out .. either way .. you are winning the lottery when you order from Leon's Garden ! This is my first time coming. To eat at this restaurant and it won't be my last. I ordered 4 dishes and they all come out in a matter of 10 min. The food was really amazing and delicious. The server was so nice.
Not happy with the food at all. I ordered a General Tao lunch special via Door dash because I was craving like crazy, and I left a note begging for them not screw it up and ensure the dish's crispiness since, most restaurants can't seem to make it right and the chicken is meant to be crispy and slightly crunchy, which is my preference anyways. But surprise, the food I got tasted more like it was doused in sweet and sour sauce rather than General Tao, and it was very soggy - although, that may be because of the deliviery courier taking forever than not. However, the restaurant is partly at fault too because they need to TRIPLE fry their breaded chicken to make sure it stays CRISPY for as long as possible. As a restaurant, you know what you sign up for when making food for delivery, and advertising food as Crispy. Make sure it's crispy and Not a bait and switch! Do your jobs! I researched for a decent place, read the raving reviews, gave this place a decent chance, begged them not to mess with my food, and they screwed me over anyways. I WILL NOT BE BACK. And I'm not being dramatic. I came to write this as soon as I got my food and was met with huge disappointment after the first few bites. But again, I'm not surprised.
Leon’s Garden is our favourite place to go out to eat! It’s so delicious and really affordable. Leon and Joanne are great and always make us happy. Would recommend 10/10 times.

We heard about this restaurant from our friends and decided to give it a try the other day and were so happy we did! The food was delicious, the service was great and the price was very reasonable! We ordered 4 dishes to be shared amongst two couples and everything was very good, perfectly seasoned and the spiciness was just right! We plan on coming back to try their other dishes. 10/10
Hidden treasure for Chinese food in Oshawa. Extremely friendly staff and generous portions. Very clean restaurant and looking forward to being a regular customer. Update. Now that I am a regular customer I am amazed how really good this restaurant has become since my last review. Super nice family run restaurant with large servings of Chinese and Thai dishes. Last night's dinner was a dinner for three with a general Tao chicken dish and hot and sour soup. It easily served four with leftovers for another dinner tonight. Without a doubt my favorite restaurant for Asian cuisine. Still highly recommended. Pay with cash over $40 and they even throw in a ten percent discount. I love Leon's Chinese restaurant.
