Used to come here often. After almost a year of not being here, I ordered their suicide wings extra sauce; as you can tell from the picture there is barely any sauce, also they changed the suicide sauce recipe; it’s just a vinegar based sauce so if you don’t want your wings to taste like vinegar skip this sauce. The wings took way too long, I waited 25 minutes and I was the only person in there who had ordered food. From my experience working as a cook, the wings should have only been 10 minutes to cook.
Great place for live music especially for rock music and Karaoke. They also have open mics occasionally. Friendly neighborhood bar with good food and good prices.
Ordered food at 3 in the afternoon on a Saturday. There was maybe 8 other people their drinking no one else eating. Waited an hour for food and it came out cold. Super disappointed had no time for more food ended up over paying st firehouse subs due to time.
Worst bar I’ve ever been to. Do not go here. They cut you off for no reason. The bartender is rude. Horrible customer service. Worst bar in oshawa. Edited based on response from pub: One member of our group puked outside and immediately left via Uber. The rest of our group was sober and none of us had keys because we were not driving, rather ubering. Not only only are you a horrible bar, but now liars too.
We ordered two pounds of wings tonight. I really wanted this to be a great review. So many friends have spoken so highly of Hill's P&G. The chicken wasn't pink, but it was undercooked. A bit chewy and certainly not crispy. The sauce was great, though, and the staff were very upbeat and friendly.
Great food awesome ceaser drink and poutine and wings awesome I be back for sure and our server was friendly the only small complain it took food along time but it was wing special night
Update: This review was when it was called "The Hill". New owner, and did not wish for this review to reflect on The Rumor Mill, as yet to try under new management. Waited 2 hours for wings. Waitress advised it would take awhile as they we're twice baked. Though good, would not wait this long again. While the waitresses we're run off their feet, their obnoxious owner was hollering over customers to bartender for shots for him and his friends. The owner alone makes me not want to visit the pub ever again. He needs to stay behind the scenes: waitresses 10/10, very friendly and great service.
