First time at this resturant. WOW. Very tasty. I live 3 minutes down the road and I killed an XL before i got home.. happy I found this place. Will definitely be coming here couple times a week.
The service is super friendly. The sauce is frozen i can tell. The pans are very battered worn out. When I said I wanted to order a pizza the man seemed frustrated and said it would be a "20 min wait". Ok?! I got frustrated and left. Their not consistent with answering phone. Pita's are cheap. Its a soso substitute for down east.
I have had donairs in every East coast province plus Ontario and Alberta and this was delicious. Very good
Donair was very tasty, wish I had grabbed a bigger one - not because it wasn't enough but because it was good. I think going back (and I will) I'll ask him to cut the slices a little thinner so they crisp up a little more when he throws them on the fire. Otherwise good and I'll be back.
Owner is a very friendly guy, well spoken and professional. I went in with a large group and he kept his cool & stayed in order. He thanked us for being patient and waiting. The environment is very welcoming & friendly, and the kitchen area is very exposed & clean. You can really see everything going on, including them cutting the meat fresh. Although personally I found the sauce to be very runny & messy to eat, I didn't mind that because the meat was so flavourful, and the toppings plenty! I'd definitely recommend to anyone looking to try something new or a Newfoundland-lander looking for a comforting meal.
