I was there today at 2:10pm today and the cashier was like a 21 year old curly hair woman who was the absolute most depressed human being I have ever seen in my life. I have friends doing life in prison with cancer who are happier than her. I said hello. Didn’t reply. Maybe she’s being held against her will. I feel bad for her. I’m ready to start a go fund me for her to make her happy. Someone help me find her name. I’m not even mad. I’m just really concerned about her well being.
Came in to buy a couple of completes for my kids, the sales guy was awesome. Spent time with both of them helping them to pick a deck that was the right size and look for each of them, then giving them a pointer in how to get started skating. Since then we've been out three times to a couple of different parks and the kids are really getting into their new hobby! This was on the 4th August at 12:56 pm.
They sold me grip tape for my longboard, after I paid for it they told me it wouldn't fit my board and then they didn't give me my money back. All this happened without me leaving the store. So I basically walked in and lost 11 bucks.
This is what retail should be all about! Excellent customer service, fun, engaging and super friendly staff, and best of all great deals!!! We will be back, thank you!
I use to hate west 49 because everything they carried (in my opinion) was garbage. However, over the years they've started to pick themselves up and carry a lot of better items and products. Solid 4 stars from jah boi, go check out west when you're in the mall.
I seem to mostly have an issue with the employees not being very helpful. They all seemed "busy talking and I don't want to interrupt so I sat at the shoe bench and body came to even help me (it was obvious I needed help) for 20 minutes. So u just left.
